Disciplinary Process - Dealing with misconduct

The disciplinary action is intended to encourage an unsatisfactory employee to improve.  Handle the matter promptly gathering all the facts.  Interviews should be conducted with both sides having sufficient time to prepare any case.  Occasionally, suspension or even dismissal could be the outcome of disciplinary action.  Trade unions may be involved.
